On October 27th, after the St. Mary’s 11 am mass, there will be a Communion Breakfast for all parishioners to welcome His Excellency Bishop Fabbro and to congratulate Fr Romeo in his official position. Since there is only one mass being celebrated that day, the PPC is asking for participation from all Service groups in our Parish Family to volunteer and help with the various positions required to provide this meal event. The Executives of all of the groups are asked to attend the mass. The Knights of Columbus 4th degree will be attending as well. Members of the CWL, Ladies Auxiliary, 3rd Order Franciscans, Youth Ministry etc. from all of our parish family are asked to provide volunteers to help prepare and serve the meal, as well as assist with clean up. All volunteers are welcome. We would ask that youth volunteers be from grade 7 and older. The Meal Menu is as follows: Ham, sausage, scrambled eggs, hash brown potatoes, pancakes, toast, fruit cocktail, coffee, tea, juice, iced tea and cake. Volunteers will be needed in the following areas: Cooks, servers, juice station, toast station, greeters, table clean up, food runners, dish washers, general cleanup, set up and take down of tables and equipment etc. Set up will occur - Friday afternoon Oct 25th from 3 – 5 pm (or when finished) Take down and clean up will be directly after the event We would ask that all volunteers show up at the St Mary’s Hall by 9 am Oct 27th . This event is eligible for Youth Volunteer hours (so bring time sheets to be signed) Cost of the meal is a free will offering. We would ask the Service groups to kindly donate towards the cost of the meal. Let’s all participate, and come celebrate, socialize and meet our current and new parish family members. St. Paul’s CWL will be having a Christmas party turkey dinner November 25th 6pm at the Thamesville Legion. Please pay dues on that day, $35. If you are unable to attend, dues may be placed in the offertory in an envelope marked “Brenda Pumfrey, CWL dues” and your name. RSVP 519-692-9662.

St. Paul’s Church is having a charity auction on Friday, November 22nd at 7pm at the Thamesville Legion. Admission is $5 and includes coffee or tea and dessert. Baked goods and donations of items to be auctioned would be greatly appreciated, and are essential to the success of the auction. Donations may be dropped off prior to the auction at St. Paul’s Church basement after Mass, or taken to the Legion on November 22nd between 11am and 1pm. Thank you in advance!
